On the America, you can just see the left hand mirror and the lack of standard mirrors.
These mirrors are quite a bit smaller than standard so a good look over the shoulder is always good practice too.
They work well - just takes a little getting used to looking elsewhere to see behind.
Standard mirrors were great for seeing back, these are better.
Lane splitting takes a little more thought though Also, I think it's frowned upon in the States, but over here, if you approcah a stationary queue of traffic (say, at lights) you can pull straight to the front.
That is sometimes out of the question too.
