Dood...Ive seen those old nasty cast ones. They are scarry. I think polising one of those might drive a man to powdercoat .
A scene from a movie, guys getting a pedicure and the lady pulls out the grinder, sparks fly...thats how I picture polishing that older lower yoke.

Sure did.
I had it pressed out by a shop then pressed it back in when I got the yoke back.

While your in there you might as well upgrade the bearings to the All Balls tapered. They come with a new dust cover.

P.S. dont forget to mark the bottom of the yoke with a scribe or something so you can align the yoke and stem again. Not important unless you use your fork lock.
