I had a problem with my BA. It was cutting out around 4000 rpm and on up. I could hear a sucking sound coming from the airbox. Further examination revealed the whole side of the airbox to be blown out. Dealer said this probably happened from a backfire. Anyway, it was still under warranty and replaced at no cost to me. Just a thought because I had never heard of that happening.
