I have a COACH buffalo leather wallet - a LEXUS ELITE award in 1999 - all dealership employees get to choose an award - a jacket, or wallet, or luggage, etc. each year the dealership earns the prestigious "ELITE" disignation.
I've been impressed with how well this "Buffalo Leather" has held up, and how cool it looks. Buffs to a beautiful shine, and is a very rich brown color. I'm hard on wallets, and never had one last this long before. It does have a small hole worn through one corner, from too much crap in the wallet, but that hole has probably been there 3 years, and hasn't grown. I've learned to "inventory" occassionally and weed out the unnecessary stuff.
They haven't offered a wallet since, as an ELITE gift, but I would do this one again, given the same choice (Buffalo Leather).
