I need help identifying a broken part. It is between the carbs ('04 Speedmaster), a small wire leads to it and it has a rubber cover that fits over something (like a nut)leading in to the motor. There is a small spring and a very small washer inside of the plastic piece that goes over a skinny plastic nipple on the motor side.
Back-story. I just returned from an overseas deployment and had to bring my bike in for a fuel leak between the carbs and the motor. They also shimmed my valves. That was 6 weeks ago and they just called me today to tell me it was done. Needless to say, I was not happy with the 6 week turn-around, especially when they kept telling me that it would be done in a couple of days (several times). I just got back from picking it up and pulled it off of the trailer and found this part broken off. The Triumph dealer is "Southeastern Steel Choppers" in Jacksonville, NC. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I am trying to spread the word.
Can anyone tell me what this part is?

Thanks.
