Tomorrow I fly (weather permitting) down to Victoria to attend my Mother's 90th birthday!! Yup, family is arriving from all over, including 2 nephews (grand kids for Mom) arriving from Taipei. Mom's excited... heck, we all are!! Her birthday will also serve as a bit of a family reunion which makes it even better, especially for Mom.
I mentioned, "weather permitting." For days now it's been socked in with snow and cloud... flights have been canceled for as many days (it's just a dinky little airstrip here). However, I just checked the forecast for tomorrow and there appears to be a window of chance for clear, open skies. Here's hoping I get out as planned!!!!!!
