Charlie - I think you are correct. The top brackets are too long and stick out too far. Not sure where they came from but I would imagine it will be pricey to get the correct brackets from Triumph. I think I'll just have to have people make fun of my too vertical windscreen for a little while just like they're making fun of my fork reflectors! Just call me...
But since this is the scene outside my house right now I don't think anyone will be seeing my bike outside anytime soon!
