I had the hots for that same bike back in '08. They had a green T 100 that really rang my chimes but the pegs were back under my knees and recalling my previous '79 Bonneville Special I did not want that peg position. I went for the Speedmaster with the forward pegs and lower seating position.
They had one leftover '07 still in the crate and that is one I bought and I have never looked back. I have ridden that bike for almost 13K miles and had little trouble with it. The front tire developed major cracks in it from being in the hot sun of VEgas and I replaced it. The battery died for the same reason. Car batteries die in two years here in Vegas. I hit some debris on the road and a chunk of something came up and hit my kickstand switch and the bike would not go into gear without stalling.
I trailered the bike to my Triumph dealer and he fixed the problem for no charge and had me back on the road really fast.
I just keep it clean and change the oil and filter every 4K miles and oil and clean the chain every couple of hundred miles and having a motorcycle jack makes the job really easy.
I would have loved to have it painted with that same green/white scheme but it came with a red/black tank so I can live with it.
