What the matter you don't get snow usualy there in the desert.
The glaciers are getting tired of the cold and moving to the desert

I've lived in this house for eight years and last year was the only one that we didn't get snow. Four or five inches two years ago.
May be more coming.

My house is at 3,500 feet compared to about 1,800 for the Strip area.

Wow, I don't remember your house bein' that far above in elevation over the Strip there, Bill.

Yep, that last storm even dropped a little snow in Phoenix last week, which I think is also about at 1,800'.

You wouldn't notice the change the way you drove in on the 215, it's more gradual.

Coming up the 95 it's a pretty obvious change. About twelve miles as the raven (we don't have any crows here) flies from Las Vegas Blvd to my house.

Of course I could be a bit off on the Strip's elevation too, I think the 1,800 figure may be the lowest point in the valley, the Strip would be higher than that, but I'm too lazy to check on it.

(now I have to though )

No snowmen Ade

Georgie and Gracie (my two Golden Retrievers) went nuts though, trampled and rolled the back yard down in five minutes

Looked like snow-dogs.

Folks that willingly live in "snow country" should have their heads examined
