as the title says really!

Today was the first opportunity to try these out, I did about 185 miles, pretty much all of it on motorways at 85-90mph (indicated).

Its warmed up a bit here, and the snow has melted, air temp was 4 degrees C, thats 39F for you fellas, and you all know what 90mph does to the chill when its that temp to begin with.

Well, they were superb - started off with them turned up all the way, within minutes had turned them to absolute minimum as they were far too hot.. by the end of the journey I had settled on the second lowest setting as feeling 'nicely warm' and that was all that was needed. NO PAIN!!! (I have some joint issues, and when my hands get too cold they really hurt...)

I'm over the moon with these. I find extreme cold/pain a distraction, so this has to be a good safety move, as well as they feel so ****** good!

Thinking about getting my lad a set for his little bike now :-)

Glad those are working out for you, Ben! Happiness is a warm hand (or two)!

sounds awesome man. Happy new year with your new heated grips bro.

I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. Edgar Allan Poe

Hey Bascule, have you got any pics of how you ran the wiring up to your grips?
I've had Oxford grips before on my previous mount and swear by them and will purchase again when winter arrives but with the weather presently hovering around 40 deg C in Sydney Australia they aren't my highest priority until winter gets a little closer.
Cheers

Wiring was really really easy. I had the seat and tank off, cos I fitted my scottoiler wiring etc at the same time, so I simply routed the wiring along the top frame member where Triumph route all their wiring.. a few black cable ties to keep it neat, and the grips wiring is neatly cable tied to the switchgear wiring on the bars.

I have been using these on the CB750 for a couple of years and was very pleased with the way they kept the palms of my hands warm...
