Geeezz! Thanks for reminding me Derek, I recently misplaced (also called lost) a little Schrade folding pocket knive. Like you I usually stick to the $20-$30 small folding variety as I have a bad habit of losing them every year or two. Sometimes when I pick up a new one, the old one shows up. Then I promptly misplace the new one and go back to using the old one.
....now I'll go back to turning this place upside down looking for that stupid thing. Fortunately a friend gave me a new one 4 months ago to use as a spare. Life always balances out for me.
