Back on line again after 2 days with no phone line due to broken fibre optic cable under the flooded Burnett River.
The river has started to go down after peaking at 9 metres.
Over 400 houses were flooded around the CBD and North Bundaberg.
I don't know when we will be able to go into town again as the roads are still closed.
We were one of the lucky towns, Emerald and Condomine have been evacuated as the water is still rising out West.
It's the highest flood levels for over 50 years.
We were lucky, the water stopped rising about 200 metres from our bottom paddock.
I do not envy all the people in town that will be returning to their homes and having a nightmare of a cleanup.
