The difference between EFI (2009+) and carb (2008/earlier) is the position of the heat shields. If you put carb pipes on an EFI bike, you will have a big gap between the exposed clamp and the heat shield (kinda ugly). The heatshield is supposed to cover the clamp. If you have an EFI model use the EFI TORS and get the dealer re-map (cheap/easy) so it doesn't backfire due to the increased flow.
