Yes, they are a nice lift for working on the bike and getting it up into the air. But I've discovered it's not very useful for changing oil & filter, unless you want to get oil all over the floor instead of into a collection pan. 
And, if your bike is lowered, it can be a PITA to slide that lift under the bike in the first place.
But still very nice looking. Congrats !!
Doh yes you're quite right, an oil change is going to be a pain!!
ah well. At least I can do chain adjustments properly now!
