I had a stock seat on my first 07 TBA and could ride around all day with no problem.

My second 07 TBA came with a stock seat but no pillion. The price of just a new pillion was more than what a BA.com member was selling his touring seat for. I also was looking at the touring seat, since it looks a little different. So I bought the BA.com member's touring seat and have found it very comfortable even for longer rides. I don't ride two-up so I can't say if a passenger will be comfortable but it is well padded.
