Keith I only started on bikes in 1973 though it was a Ariel Arrow with Ace bars

Which is about a similar club set up in Birmingham in the sixties.

Thanks Keith, mine had a Maroon tank and as I said it had Ace bars which I ended up tuning upside down and used as high bars, well it was the early 1970's

Wow Bryn if you got the book for what it cost new you could make yourself a few bob lol
It looks a good book but I don't think I would pay that price for it.

It is a good read Phil, but mines a reprint and I can't remember what it cost.

If we're ever likely to meet up, remind me and I'll lend it you. Although I think it's in one of many yet-to-be-unpacked boxes from my last house move.
