I have a prescribed cocktail mixture of Percocet, Oxicontin, (slow release), Gabapentin (supposed to suppress phantom pains).....
I also have to wean myself from the percocet in 2011 as soon as the pain from the stump subsides. Because I have been on the stuff for so long I am a legal addict. I will soon be cutting back the dosages and the duration between ...and slowly reduce the physical dependency.
