I too have one of the fast black speedys and got taken out be a car early this year but I was okay and speedy copped the worsed of it.

I sure know the feeling. I was traveling south @ speed on a two lane rural highway and hit a cager who pulled from a stop sign just a nano-second in front of me. Many of my friends who visited me in the hospital in the weeks afterward still call me "Miracle" because I survivied it. My injuries included a broken neck - two places fixed via immobilization for three months, A badly broken and dislocated pelvic ring fixed by two surgeries and external fixation and flat on my back for three months, all the tendons in my right wrist were severed cleanly and surgically repaired, and of course the creme de la creme was a messed up right ankle that proved to be a two year affair, and some miscellaneous road rash that amounted to little. And enough medical bills (out of pocket costs and co-pays and deductibles )to drive me to near distraction over time....
