Thanks for that Mountain man,

Spent a wee bit of time in Rosland BC in the early 90’s trying to find those hairy Sasquatch on those bear cans of yours.

Already have the bobbed fender, a set of pull back T bars (width is 34'' the rise 6'' pull back 8'', 1 ¼ )
lying in the garage. Looking for some good ideas for a sleek rear light to finish it off, like the thunderbird light.

The problem we have hear in NZ is the market for triumph custom parts isn’t huge (maybe like Canada) and as a result we have to get most of the stuff imported from either the US or UK (some don’t ship), so the postage is a killer, and a bit tricky to return.

Would you believe I am trying to source a pair of chrome handlebar grips at the moment in NZ to fit my 1’ bars and I can’t get them off the shelf. Maybe I have to go to the Harley shop (oooogh)

Also looking to fit the speedo into the tank (spent a while reading all those posts here, looks like fun). Going to order the Acewelll 2856 with Tacho, as I think it will fit right (Dimensions: 64mm x 40mm and 70mm on the outside ring) and also you can plug a speedo cable or use magnets on it.

but again as you guessed its gonna have to be ordered via the UK and a 2 week wait(and I want it now).

For the parts hassles I still wouldn’t swap the speedy though.
