Thanks for the info Micah. I have put the tool roll with the tools in it, that i bought off Eddy and placed them in a large clip lock sealed bag that has been rolled round the tool bag several times. It then sits in the leather tool roll fitted to Ferdie. I haven't got one of those vacuum sealed things so my option will have to do for now. I'm well aware the leather tool roll will get a belting from the elements so I've spent several hours rubbing dubbin and another water proof leather conditioner into the leather to keep it in good nick till next clean up time.

The other thing I decided to do was wrap a black belt round the tool roll and the engine crash bars to prevent the tool roll moving. I found it impossible to tighten the leather straps to the point of the roll being totally solid at their mountings but the leather belt worked well to sort out that issue. Unfortunately the belt covers part of the TriumPh logo but nothing's perfect.

The other part I'm happy about is putting on the mud flap which I've been wanting to do for some time but it required me taking off the front wheel to do it properly. Btw, a while ago I bought some mud flaps off eBay for a few of us on here but the quality wasn't up to scratch IMHO. Apologies to anyone who bought one and thought similarly too but I should have realised $10 would only buy rubbish.
