So, you just got yourself a new motorcycle helmet. What do you do with the old one?

ya start a collection and hang them on the garage wall. i used to frequent a drinking establishment that had an old h.d. sprint suspended from the ceiling laying on its side and he also let everyone hang their old helmets from the ceiling, alot of them had the names or a message written on them.

ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!

I just tend to let 'em collect dust over on a ledge in the corner of my garage.

But, this reminds me of what my Mom did years and years ago with one of those old German ceremonial spiked helmets that my Pop brought back home after WWII(aka: "Spoils of War")...she made a flower pot out of it and stuck it(spike pointed down, of course) out in our back yard.

(...talk about "recyclin'", huh?!...I guess you might say my Mom was on the "vanguard" of this whole movement!!!)

Recycle it. Put on the curb and someone will come by and take it.

This is what I do with anything that I cannot put in the recycle bin, yet isn't exactly trash, but not good enough for Goodwill. Usually it is gone within an hour.

Hey Steve, IF you would've read what I said above, THEN you would've known that MY MOM was ALREADY usin' "your" idea YEARS ago, back in the 1950s, dude!!!!

(...except of course those old German spiked helmets would stay pretty much where ya stick 'em and wouldn't roll around on ya like these here newfangled Shoeis probably would once ya plant your geraniums in 'em!)

Hmmm. I get the feeling that Keith's coffee and Bailey's may be similar to Richard Pryor's milk and cookies.

Yeah Bill, come to think of it, those might be Keith's euphemisms for his...well...his "stuff"!!!

(...I just hope that Keith doesn't set HIMSELF on fire like the aforementioned comedy great did while HE'S indulging himself up there...where evidently a keyless-entry device comes in MIGHTY HANDY when they're tryin' to get into their cars!!!)

You can hang that old brain bucket from the bars while you are working on your bike. To throw bolts and other small parts into so you can keep up with them.
It might be cool to hang from the eve of your porch and put a hanging plant in. If its a half shell you could take the liner out and use it as a food bowl for the dog.
You could build a cannon and see how far you can shoot it.
Modify the straps and use as a jock strap. IF you got two you could make a bra out of them.

I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. Edgar Allan Poe

Mounted 'tween two skinny Alders with old screen door springs and they make a decent feedback target for pistol practice.
