Hey Eddie, to answer your question about what I did with the floorboards... I fashioned a sort of cam (2 per side) which fits on the bolts that the boards swing on. It's a bit hard to explain but the cam is sized to lift the boards resting position. But what I also suggest is to replace those two bolts with one long one instead. This will give the boards much less room to flop around which contributes to them sitting at an angle.
