Yeah, that was posted here a while back. Not the kind of riding I'd be up for but then again... if I had a camera strapped to my head while pushing the envelope on some of the mountain roads around here, someone watching the video might say, "not the kind of riding I'd be up for!"

Live to love, love to live.

Nooooo newt, as I'm SURE you REALLY know, THAT kind of lane-splintin' isn't "ok" even in that "stinkhole", "cali"!

(...but I think I've tried to "enlighten" you about THIS subject in that past TOO, and so I'll just let this one go for now)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

The Matrix music is a nice touch (should've kept it going throughout). I don't know if it's balls or stupidity, though.

As I said the first time this was posted, my money's on your second guess there, John...and only 'cause he's not only putting his own life at risk, but everybody else's on that road!

Yep, if I had a chance to "enlighten" THIS guy, I'd probably say somethin' to HIM like: "HEY RUSKIE! You guys are allowed to invest your money in things over there nowadays, RIGHT?! Well, in THAT case, how about inventin' in a friggin' TRACK DAY over there INSTEAD, you friggin' moron???!!!"

(...yep, that's what I'D probably tell the Ruskie, alright!!!)

Btw folks...the above might've been one of very reasons that over the years I've been turned down a total of THREE TIMES to be one of our "Roving Motorcycle Ambassadors" by BOTH the U.S. State Department AND the A.M.A!!!

Total disregard for anyone else on the road. This guy gives all bikers a bad name. As Dwight mentioned "invest in a track day you friggin' Moron."

Where are the Police when you need them? This guy should have his ride confiscated!!

Well I dont exactly ride slow but I ride to survive. Whilst approaching cagers always expect the unexpected and plan your exits. This guy might have good reflexes but I seriously doubt he will still be with us if he keeps dicing with death like that.
Riding the centre line at speed with traffic approaching in the same lane is suicidal. If you really do ride like that you have no regard for losing your own life, the effect that will have on your loved ones and not to mention endangering the lives of the others on the road.

Maybe I am getting old and being a "fuddyduddy" but track days are for people who wanna ride like demons without endangering the lives of others. If you dont get that then maybe you havnt experienced loss. I apologise now if I have offended anyone but I think the majority here would agree.

Don't worry Steve! I'm sure our resident BA.com "Man-Of-Few-Words", namely Yota, was just pullin' your leg here, mate!

I tried it in Tulsa traffic after I saw it the first time. After a couple of guys in pick ups tried to put the squeeze on me, I settled back down. "Lane splitting" is not in the OK DMV drivers manual.

Well Paul, I suppose not EVERY cager out there can be as cooperative and accommodating at they are out there in that "stinkhole" known as "cali", EH?!

(...ya see, when I lived out there, usually more than half of the cagers would actually move over in their lane in bumper-to-bumper freeway traffic to allow me to pass 'em while I was lane-splintin'...yep, I guess it IS a whole different "culture" out there in that "stinkhole" than it is in "The Heartland", eh???...yep, maybe newt and all the good ol' boys are RIGHT afterall, EH?!)

True, I wouldn't try lane splitting in Little Rock or Atlanta either. But I thought Florida was a little more enlightened? Both Moe and Newt seem very contemporary.

No problemo, Steve. I understand.

Ya see, THIS is sometimes the problem with livin' south of the equator. The Earth is actually closer to the sun when it's YOUR summer down there than when it's OUR summer up here(this is true), and so naturally when it gets a little TOO hot, people's emotions can run a little wild sometimes ANYWHERE on this planet!!!)

That guys days are limited but I am sure he don't care. If I were a ruskie I would probably care less myself. He don't have any loved ones I think thats still illegal there.

He will get slapped soon by some pavement or a car.
