The South(eastern) contingent has made it to Jonesboro, AR. We're going to grab something to eat and get ready for our long day (650 miles) tomorrow. As long as we don't get hypnotized by all the straight roads we should be in Dodge City by tomorrow night.
Remember, always be yourself.

Hey Narsisco, Bob (wrwallpi) and I are leaving Grand Junction early Thursday AM.
I'll stay in touch and let you know which route I'm taking. If I can convince Fast Eddy his "crew" to come through Colorado, I'd suggested we take I-70 west through Grand Junction and then Utah 128 to Moab. If they opt for the "flat" route (Oklahoma, the Texas panhandle, and New Mexico), then I may go through South Park, over Pagosa Pass and take 160 to Durango.
They're supposed to leave Des Moines early on the 1st and let me know what they decide the night before. If they come my way, we should all be able to make Grand Junction the evening of June 1st.
Again... thanks for letting me know and I'll let you know which route I'm going.

So just how many of you will be in GJ the night of 6/1? The number will determine how I approach this w/ Mrs. Wall, who will be between having her daughter at the house, and her dad in town. I've told her "some guys" might stop by, but who want's to be the designated "surprise!!" drop-in? Mike - she already knows you're going to be here.
I've got a meeting to attend via Skype, but will be home by 6PM. Maybe we could all get some dinner?

I-70 to first Cisco exit, then down River Road into Moab is an excellent choice.

Trinidad is best known for being the home of the "chop and channel," and I don't mean customizing hot rods, either...
Just warning you, don't end up in that that hospital, unless you want a shortage annex to your parts list...

Man am I jealous! The expected boon of business hasn't arrived yet, my boss is out of town so can't ask for vaca, and I just blew my big wad on plane tickets to send the family home in August to CT to see the in-laws. IF anyone is coming through Denver, or down I-25 from Wyoming, or I-76 on the way through, I could maybe catch a short part of the ride, say "Hi" or whatever. Either way, have fun down there at Casa Dwight and ride safe.

Well, Fast Eddy, Engage, and BigJack are just now rolling out of Des Moines (Eddy got a late start out of Wisconsin on Tuesday), but the did decide to roll into Denver... not sure if they'll quite make it today... it's a 670 mile run. But, if they do, we'll roll southwest from Denver. Since they're detouring from their original route to link up with me here in Denver, I'm gonna defer to their choice as to which route we take to Prescott. Ah... so many roads, so little time!
