I've been checking out the lodgings at the Grand Canyon. Seems like the Bright Angel Lodge and all others in the park are booked for June 1st. However there are lodgings 11 miles south off of 64 in Tusayan AZ. Starting at $133 at the Red Feather Lodge and going up to the $170 range at the Grand Hotel. Ka Ching Fingers crossed. Thank goodness it is a short ride that day.
When in Dodge City the Wyatt Earp Inn is $70 after tax. I called them yesterday and the lady seemed real nice. Not yota'ish but nice in a well non yota way!
A lot of other choices for rooms there too.
Durango has some lodgings one of which is the Iron Horse Inn for $89 + tax and the Caboose Motel $84, the Days End Motel has rooms for $49...
