I don't think there is a way to remove the blueing with out mucking up the finish. The Blueing a chemical reaction caused by the heat. If you buff the exhaust enough you'll buff right through the chrome plating, I've seen products advertised to remove the blueing, but they also state they are abrasive and leave the chrome satin rather than mirror.
But ifyou use the felt bobbins with some metal polish, you'll have the shiniest headers in town!
