The last couple oil changes, I have used the Pure One filter and Valvoline's new 4 stroke motorcycle oil. I noticed an immediate improvement in clutch response due (i guess) to the increased zinc content of the oil. I had used Mobil 1 (magic!) and Amsoil before. I trust Valvoline, but am changing it more often (4,000 miles). It's also not as clean coming out used as the Amsoil was (after 6,000 miles). I recently learned that most long distance riders change their synthetic oil at 10,000 to 12,000 miles (14,000km-17,000km). I guess they use less stop&go driving.
