Yep.

Looks like it starts on Wednesday. Wouldn't be bad to go there Wednesday and Thursday or part of Thursday just to check it out then head for Nelson.

Huh... first annual! Should be a good time I'd imagine. Yeah... head up there for a couple 'o days, then drop down to Nelson. Wow... with the gig up in Salmon Arm, Toad Rock and Nelson Raid it's getting biker busy in these here parts!

So Keith, what is the miles from Nelson to this Salmon Arm? All this biker happenings up there is peaking some interest. Anyway, I'm going to keep an ear open for further developments to see how these events develop.
Hopefully, things (life in general) can work out for a vacation at that time.

Ya know Robert... it IS kinda interesting how this area is home to some pretty funtastic biker events. To answer your question Salmon Arm is about 220 miles from Nelson. But... this could be extended a bit to include some of the BEST riding anywhere. Come on up... the beer's cold and the woman are pretty (and) friendly! AND the scenery is world class!! Oh, and ya got me to visit so what could be better?

(Ya don't need to answer that last question there btw!)

Thanks for the info Keith, the cold beer sounds great, AmyLee would be coming along so I'll have to curb the extra curricular activities. If we head your way, you'll be the first to hear. Thanks again!

You and AmyLee will LOVE Salmon Arm, Bob! It's beautiful! I went there while I was up in BC visiting my Ma(and Keith) last month!

Ma's "boyfriend" Harold has a little cabin on the lake there, and the three of us drove to it to help Harold retrieve some stuff he wanted to take back to his home in Kelowna.

OK, I give up, who's Dave?

Dwight, Salmon Arm sounds like a great place to visit, I've been wanting to explore BC for a while now, and I'm not getting any younger. So with any luck this maybe the year for a visit. Right now I have a few hurdles to jump, so I'll have to wait and see how it goes.

Dave is the dearly departed fellow in the video I posted in a thread called 'Perfectly Amazing' up there in the lounge. But ummmm, ya know... Salmon Arm is pretty nice alright, but not quite as nice as the area I live in imho. Ahhh what the heck... you'll just have to take it all in and judge for yourself!!!

That does sound like fun. All this good stuff, if only I was retired, well and a little money to spend.

This event's been coming up in conversation around here lately. Is anyone, or does anyone know anyone who's heading for the 1st Annual Sturgis North in Salmon Arm?

Huh, forgot about this. I wonder if they have permission to use the word Sturgis. I believe it's been trademarked.

If there's enough of you going, they should have a special Triumph Assembly area, especially since this is their first year. They should be appreciative of those coming.

I was thinking about heading up for the 1st day... until I saw a day pass is $120. That's a lot of dinero to see Doug and the Slugs behind the backdrop of Harley dust!
