I rode a 6 mile dirt/rock/gravel "improved" road yesterday and heard several rocks that got picked up. They didn't pose a problem. They either got crushed by the fender brace or simply flung out.
As for rubbing, if you look closely you can see that it
has rubbed right at the center. I knew when it happened by the smell of burning rubber.
That only happened at an indicated 96MPH...
