Brilliant and ambitious! Nice work!!
After reading Dwight's concern about fixed pegs, I was reminded of a bike I once had with the same... and so, a story which addresses a certain safety concern. One day back in '71 when I was riding my '59 Tiger I headed down a steep hill from my driveway. It had been raining and the street was wet. Near the bottom (only a few houses away) I had to take a right hand turn and so I applied the rear brake which locked up the back tire. Now, I was rolling pretty slow and I remember dropping a leg to help stabilize the bike which had gone into a sideways skid. BANG, that's when it happened!! I rolled over the curb at the end of the street, my foot butted against the curb and became stationary while the bike kept moving. My leg got jammed between the curb and the fixed peg and.... SNAP!!! Broke my leg right in half. All this at a speed of maybe 15 mph.
So ummmmm, food for thought perhaps? Just saying!!
