I have the kickstand extender and it's wonderful, I'm 5'4", even in the rain. As MsChevious1 said, it's so easy to grab with the bottom of my boot.

I went to switchblade foot pegs from Kuryaken. My husband has the same foot pegs on his V-Rod. They work great and were not expensive and I put them on quite quickly myself.
