Laying in bed sick has me thinking of the cool crisp ga mtn air.

I heard it is being moved to your house. So it will be the KY rally.

can we still call it the ga rally?

I will be in GA. But I think we have boycot the raj. I believe there is a nearby british biker friendly camp ground

Chy & Di, thank you for all the great memories over the last six years or so. It always felt like homecoming to attend your Rally with all the great friends, food and of course the rides. I appreciate all the time, effort, headaches and cost you guys put into staging these events. You are truly southern hospitality at it’s finest.
As always my front door is open in Knoxville if ever you find yourself heading my way. I look forward to riding with you guys again in the near future.
May the road rise to meet you, the wind be always at your back and the sun shine warm upon your face.

After hosting a few Rallies myself, I think people don't always appreciate and realize how much work goes in to it.

I would like to thank Chy and Di for the opportunity they provided with their hard work and hospitality, to meet so many great people that I would not otherwise have met. You couldn't ask for nicer folks. The rides were fantastic. I hope I meet up with some of my Ga rally friends again some day soon.

Well have to say it has been a great run..the best you could ask for, no finer people than Chy and Di...but then again, I am already here and I'm sure there will be many unscheduled rides to enjoy..Chy the roads of North Ga are calling, even a few whispers from Tn, SC adn NC.
Hey you didn't decide to do this because I got that BMW Cruiser did you ? Ha did not think so. But it is still sad.

Well it's really just more of a break... This year I'm going to take both my vacation weeks together for the first time in forever and if all goes well I hope to attend another BA rally somewhere so hopefully we'll see some of you there.
As of now we still plan to do something in 2012 something different but something, so it's not over.. not yet.

And hey, I said we weren't going to host the thing.. someone else can step up and take charge.. most of y'all know the area well enough and I'll be glad to help in any way I can, and hey.. if you do, we'll be there!

Dang Dad.... If I could I would... but then we would have to call it the Great Lost Rally 2011... cause you know I get lost leaving your drive way... sad, but true. I would also like to extend my gratitude to you and mom and of course, the Sheps for your hospitality, genuine friendship and loving home that has welcomed so many of us over the years. Chy, Di, you are wonderful people and truely great friends.
I will be in GA this year and will, as most years in the past , take you to dinner on sunday.
Date TBD.
Early May will be the norm .
nothing will be asked of you, as this will be a stop on a trip ,
"not a rally"
I will be stopping in GA and invite others to join me.
We found a camp round owned by a british couple who will keep us rowdy triumph riders away from others.
points of interest and maps may be provided , or not.
simply follow another bike and you will find another great road.
I am not going to a rally, I am going to see a friend!

My friends live north of Atlanta,
my relatives live south of atlanta, and I tent to play golf with my uncle , and a 4 will be welcome. if there are a large group of golfers we may have an 8.

Pete- those roads can be dangerous. I dont want you to ride on them all alone so I will come & ride along with you so you will be safe.

It kinda sounds like the start of a plan. Rest assured I will join you for a "few rides". And even a day of Golf, Hmmm got back into that after a 16 year layoff, about 2 months ago.
Never can tell might even find time to do a little 'smokin' (no not that kind, but the meat variety) just need a place to have a mini feast.

Chy and Di, thank you for planning and hosting this rally for all these years. I've enjoyed every year I've attended, and you two have always made me (and everyone else) feel welcome.

Pete, I like your idea...it's early still, but I've circled early May for a little road trip.

If there is going to be a 2011 get-together in early May, My wife and I could host a dinner at our facility (www.watersmill.com). I know my Dad (Larryshep) would be willing to smoke a ham and turkey! Due to date commitments at our facility, I think we'd only be able to host the Dinner on Thursday evening, but our doors are open for all of you to come! And I'm sure we'd be able to talk my Mom into a few cakes as well!

I know it's early, but if we could get a date that I could block out on our calendar, that would be great.
