I tried a WindVest on my 05 America and didn't like it. They are a great company and allowed me to return it. Its protection area was a narrow envelope and I didn't like it. This lead me to work with Clearview on developing a replacement for my original Summer Screen which was awful for someone 6' tall. I didn't want a large wind shield which is one of the reasons I tried the WindVest. The large Roadster screens are way too big for me. I just wanted the buffeted wind to hit at the top of my head - not in my face like my original Summer Screen.
I've been extremely happy with my Clearview for over 4 years and couldn't imagine anything better for me and my bike. Obviously, there is no perfect screen for everybody.
