Nice looking bike, always liked that colour, but she ain't old until the stock tyres are gone!

I'm on my 3rd set. I just keep buying OEM tires.

Just out of curiosity, why? I love my nice sticky Metzelers.

Cut it up.

Someday I predict that of our bike s , the ones ( as per SBS287 s '03 TBA) that are clean, functional and basically original will be worth the most money, in my case, I want to ride on a bike completely adulterated to my tastes and specs. That better resale value will accrue when I'm either too old to care, or I'm already dead and gone. BTW..Lady B. is a beautiful bike IMHO

Yeah, that is for sure one of the best stock colors. And as for unmolested bikes, its prolly true. I touched all of my bikes no no places however.

I do have a few add ons. The pics are a little old but Lady B does have the following:

Progressive front / rear suspension
Thunderbike Pipes
Triumph Windshield
Triumph Floorboards
AI removed
K&N filter
Speedmaster Tach
Saddlemen bags (too small) w/ easy brackets
LED tail lights and signals
GPS mount

I had the stock seat but it just didn't cut it. 20 miles into a ride and my tailbone was killing me. Then I tried the Triumph touring seat. That was even worse. So then I sent the stock seat off to Mean City Cycles in NC for a re-upholstery job with memory foam. That helped a little, but even with an Air Hawk pad I'm only good for about 80 miles before I just can't take the pain anymore. I wish I could find a decent seat. That and some Tsukayu Strong hard bags and I would have what I consider to be the perfect bike.... for now.....

CORBIN,

Just make sure you tell them you want it on the softer side maybe with some gel an mem foam. I have felt some hard ones (my gunfighter) and some that are on the softer and cushy side. get the king and queen, as the gunfighter (as i have it) still gets you in the tail bone due to the fitting for the optional back rest is in it.

cheers.

That's crazy that it is hurting so bad after 80 miles.

My stock gunfighter was good for about 100 miles before getting unconfortable, but I can go a lot farther since having the seat foam redone by Spencer at Great Day To Ride.

Maybe it is foot position and/or your position on your bike (back). Maybe you need a backrest. It just seems you should not be so uncomfortable so quickly.

Strange.

Well guys, after a look at some recent x-rays, the problem is the rider and not the seat. Turns out somewhere, somehow, who knows when.... I ended up breaking my tailbone and the broken part seems to be pointing in the wrong direction. Wish I could remember when that happened. Combine that with the BA's riding position and, tada!!! Sore Arse!! I'm going to try and custom up a seat that will work. I'm sure it will be ugly as sin but if it keeps me out of pain then it keeps me on my bike.

HEY now, Grzegorz ol' buddy, REMEMBER...not ALL Triumphs in the world are run in English weather!!!

(...btw Barry, beautiful shots here...in fact, I can see why Whitt picked the one in the Fall colors as "Miss November" for his calendar this year)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
