2005 Triumph America dropped this past Sunday. The gear change pedal assy is bent inward. I am not very proficient at web site navigation. Went to Triumph website but could not for the life of me find my way into parts list so that I could order a new gear change pedal assy. Bike Bandit lists their part number for this item as 1391778. Then there is a another part number listed under it. Part number is 5570218-001. Might that be the Triumph part number for this item?

if its a stock gear shift lever you can just bend it back. Its only mild steel.
If you just gotta change it then go to you dealer and tell them what part you want. The foot shift lever, the linkage rod. Thats about it for parts that can be bent by droping it. They will know what you are talking about.
British customs has some stuff if you don't want stock

Thank you very much for the advice and info. Do you advise removing the foot gear shifter or just bending it back while it is installed on the bike?

Thanks.

I would remove and place in a vice, use brass shim stock or paper, wood, plastic, leather, something to shield the chrome from your vice s jaws and work it back into a usable config, go slow and remount after every correction 'til you get it right.

I'd grab the thing and bend it back into place... but I'm just that kind of guy.

I'd take it off the bike then hold it in my teeth while I bent it over with my bare hands. Well okay, not my BARE hands... I'd wear gloves!

Are you still talking about levers? That could go in a couple different directions.

I would leave it mounted and use a Cresent wrench and a pipe. The better the leverage you have on it the better control you'll have. Get a buddy over to help ya. a second pair of hands and eyes is always handy.
