Out at the end of a dead-end road where we have very few folks venture, my boxer runs loose. However, should she even consider chasing a bike, car, cyclist, pedestrian, et al, she KNOWS that the beatings will soon commence. So, though she occassionally forgets and gets that "look," one sharp word from me or the spouse-unit is all it takes. Raising/owning dogs is kinda like kids, but sadly, beating kids is no longer allowed, ergo, we have dogs now behaving better than most kids.
