Well maybe not but while you are taking care of them you would have a hard time doing anything about me.
I agree that if your dog causes a wreck you are responsible and deserve what you get. I mean that 2 fold, one is for causing the wreck and 2 is for endangering your dog. I do take my eyes off my dogs while we are outside now but I didn't used to until I had them trained the way they are. They mostly lay in the grass near me while I do what ever I do.
On a side note, pitbulls are not to be afraid of, most are friendly normal dogs but are also powerful and have a very powerful bite. My dogs are very friendly but I am pretty sure that wouldn't hold true if I was attacked.
