I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

You have to give each of the bolts a good wack with a hammer to shock them loose. Hammer and a brass punch should work although I just smacked mine with a hammer. An impact driver should work also.

I used an impact hammer, maybe the overheat condition caused the difficulty?

Yep, did the same here, broke 3 bits then got the good old impact out, 2-3 hits on each just "cracks" that seal so they come out easy Good luck buddy

I didn't break any bits but I did put the bit in each bolt and smack with a hammer then break loose.

I did try that I put the socket bit in and then put an extension on it then wacked it with a hammer. I ended up using an impact pulling the trigger real slow so it hammered slowly. Then they came loose except 2 and it stripped them out. So I drilled and tapped them got one then the tap broke, I ended up using one of those dies for a stripped head and some vise grips and it came loose. what a pain.

There is your mistake, the impact we are talking about is the kind you hold and hit with a hammer.

You can check on www.tooltopia.com they do seem to have some descent deals if you do not want to go to Sears.
