I brought a 1971 BSA A75 Rocket 3 back to life once in a my old apartment's bedroom back around '74. The thing had broken off one of its valve-lifters and had completely fragged the cylinder barrel skirts and pistons. And so thanks to my copy of this handy-dandy Haynes Manual here...



....I took the engine out of its frame, which I left sittin' in the carport, and walked the engine upstairs to my apartment, disassembled and rebuilt it right there, and then walked it back downstairs and reinstalled that lump back into the frame in the carport.

(...this is one of the reasons I vowed as a young man that any properties I might purchase in the future would have plenty of enclosed garage space...such as I now enjoy)
