Thanks for the offer. Do you know what makes these particular guards any better than let's say the $12 shin guards or $300 shin guards?

Another question, these seem a bit big to go under the jeans. Does the site say anything about these being worn on the inside and how comfortable are they? Do they breathe? I didn't see any perforations to allow them to circulate air, which is extremely important in a hot climate.
