when I was a pup , motorcycle awareness was taught in our mandatory drivers ed... in the states where this aspect of drivers ed has been dropped, fatalaties are up.... stiff penalties for dui and cell phone (which is dui IMO) Drivers Ed should be mandatory as well as revue for ALL drivers periodically .... If the DOT want to lower senseless motorcycle deaths it will be done by requiring this and not trying to solve the problem by making us use "suites of armor" and the DOT often thinks is the "silver bullet" to solve this.....where driver education is used it has resulted in a lowering of motorcycle fatalaties...
