http://cycle-ergo.com/ I just posted this in another thread but thought it might be missed by some folks. you can pick several bikes set your height and inseam and change ergos like seat height rise pullback etc. and see how you might fit. "our" bikes aren't listed ;( but many others are. edit to add: I got this link from ADVRIDER.com in the tiger800 thread.

Thanks for posting this. I was hoping to see our bikes within that utility just so I could experiment with it. Otherwise I found it rather interesting!

But they do have a Thunderbird so if you're ready to upgrade, you can see how it fits.

Bingo! I took a chance and emailed webmaster @ cycle-ergo.com and let them know that they were missing the America and Speedmaster. I got a reply saying that they would add it tonight.

It says I'm too short to reach the foot pegs, 5'4". I had the foot controls moved back 2 inches before I brought it home, so it does fit. It's interesting though.

It would be nice if someone knew the optimum comfort numbers for lean, arm bend and knee bend.

That's going to be a very personal thing. You may feel extremely comfortable on a bike, whereas someone else on the same bike may feel very uncomfortable.

Errrr isn't this what test rides were designed for? Just a thought.

Apparently my legs are to short for my Speedmaster as well. Luckily it appears they are good to go for the Thunderbird. Maybe its time to upgrade already?
