After hearing clanrickarde's bike just now after he came over to put his new Thunderbike pipes on, I too can't see what the fuss is about. These pipes are NOT loud. Like the man says, they're about like a good set of TORs.
Not that this is a bad thing. I thought they had a good sound to them, about like Budweiser's drilled out stock pipes when I heard them in Albq last fall. I think I could be happy with the Thunderbike pipes over my much louder Epcos....especially on long trips.
