Wow !!! Not loud enough?! To each his own i guess.I actually packed 2/3 the length of the unpacked area to quiet them down, which by the way worked well. You could try removing the packing in the packed ares and if that doesn't do it for you just remove the whole baffle. But i think you'll be starved for backpressure.

Anyway, to take them out you have to remove them from the bike. If you try to remove them on the bike just by removing the allen screw near the end they won't budge. The 2 screws that hold the muffler to the rear peg hanger are to blame. Remove them too and the baffles will come out, tho they still can be a bit of a biotch. I don't know why those 2 screws matter, as they don't seem to be in the way of the baffle. But for whatever reason they gotta come out before it'll budge.

One way to remove them if they are tight is to clamp a vise grip plier onto the little bit od welded bead at the end of the baffle and pull and twist. If thats not enough, add a second vice grip to the end of the first one at a 45 degree angle so you can hit it with a hammer. In any case, remove the allen screw and the 2 mounting screws and they'll come out. But i cannot for the life of me understand how you could want more volume !!
