He was running the stock hand clutch. He bought a 2nd set of fwd controls to fabricate the linkage required for the jockey handle. I don't have any close-ups of that linkage, but it is pretty well done.
If you had floorboards and bought the rocker shifter, I'm wondering if you could make that into a foot-clutch? A buddy had an old Triumph that he put a foot clutch on. He bent a piece of tubing, put tabs on it and used it to run the cable to the clutch cable out of the transmission.
