2007 - Bonneville America. I've filled up the tank for the winter. How much Sta-bil gets added?

Thanks!

I would have thought a product like that would say it on the label

I added about 55 ml to our '07. It's generally best to add the Sta-Bil first, and then fill the tank. This ensures proper mixing. You need to run the bike so that the mix goes through all the fuel lines, etc as well.

It should say how much per gallon on the bottle...put it in, then run the bike for a few minutes so it can work through the lines. I used to put it in, put the cap back on, then rock the bike around for a few minutes, then run it for several minutes. Overkill which amused my friends. If you pour it in, then start it up the next day for a few minutes, that works just fine.

to much is just enough

1oz per 2 1/2 gallons, I use 2 ozs and then run the bike for a while so it gets thru the carbs

OK guys here's the "NEW" hot ticket for gas treatment..... Star Tron. Everything I've read and heard says this stuff takes the danger out of bad gas for small engines. Bikes, sleds etc. My local shop is selling tons of this product.. If gas goes to 15% ethanol we might need to use it at every fill-up.. Here's the E-mail address. www.starbrite.com V.

I buy Seafoam at WalMart and don't worry whether it's on sale or not. Gas doesn't stay in my bike long enough to get old, but I run some Seafoam through every 6 months. Works just as good with injectors as carbs.
