I cut the air box in half, retaining the rear half which serves as a battery holder. I cut the metal bracket that holds the battery, ignition key and fuse box, eliminating the battery holding portion and retaining the ignition and fuse holder. So the battery is now directly under the seat and I no longer have the cheese graters or side pod. I went with 4 inch UNI pod filters and changed my jets to 152 main and 42 pilot. Now it's time to do a dyno run (when the weather permits) and fine tune the bike. If anyone is interested in doing something like this shoot me an email and I can send you pics of what I did.
