I don't like the dimples, they are too long. In the worst cases, the bars appear flat on the underside. They will also stop you using an internal throttle assembly.

I'm just doing the internal wiring through the bars (only the second one I've done.

I much prefer drilling holes,where I need them, although on the set I'm working on at the moment, I used my trusty angle grinder to chop the holes out.
