Always carry that which you just used (at least for a tank full of fuel).
most roadside repairs require changing the spark plugs, dropping the carb bowls, dealing with the electrics, or adjusting the chain.
Carry a spare spark plug, coil if you have one, a sparky wire, and Duct tape. That's all ya need cept for a cell phone, your wallet and ID and the list you will compile per below...
Do a dry run of:
removing the tank
pulling a spark plug,
dropping the bowls,
adjusting the chain
tightening the battery connections
adjusting the shocks.
Then mark each with a piece of blue painter's tape.
Then when you want to ride simple gather up the marked tools, and ride!
