So nice! The first time I saw this photo, I saved it to my favorites of all time, any make folder, right where it belongs. You could spend all the time and money in the world and not look that good.

Quite a compliment indeed. If you ever make it to SoCal I'll let you take for a spin. It rides like it looks. Thanks

It rides like sex? Hmmm, I should have ridden it in the rain that day. Would've been worth the clean up...

Still, after all these years and after all the other beautiful customized BAs and SMs I've seen photos of around here, your bike is my favorite, Doug. There's no other way I can put it other than to say that it is an absolute "jewel of a bike"!!!!

And, I appreciate your offer for a ride on it the next time I'm in SoCal!!!

(...and SPEAKIN' of which...I WILL BE in SoCal for the Hansen D*m British ride this coming Sunday, Nov.7...so hopefully we'll meet up there!...I'll send ya my cell# in a PM)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Hey Doug, you may have said this in another thread...but your forks, are they just the stock forks but chrome plated? If so, who did the plating for you?

cheers!

I believe they're stripped and polished. I did mine and they look just like that, it's a bit of work but well worth the effort.

Love the color, and the custom seat...from the pics it looks like it's embossed or tooled on the saddle? If so I'd like to see some detail pics. Also noticed you moved the turn signals to the forks, much cleaner look eh!

I wanted to put a couple of my favorite and most inspirational bikes back on page 1. I hope those who are customizing their bikes appreciate these as much as I do
